I have just checked my ticket and no luck again. What does get to me is the raffle. The odds of getting the right colour and the right 8 digit number must be extremely high.( or low. I don't understand odds. )
Does anyone know anyone who has won the raffle? Are the 100 prizes won every week?

I don't play on Wednesday, Dee. £6.00 wasted every Saturday is enough!
A friend of mine won something like 140k.

Our biggest win was £194 a few weeks back.

Just off to check our account.....
Damn...

Never mind, ummmm. There's always next week.
Don't know anybody who has won the raffle but I do know a family syndicate of ten who won just under two million.

Wow, paddy. That's a lot of money. Good for them.
It is tilly even split ten ways and it doesn't seem to have changed them much,in fact they all still live round here except for the daughter and her husband and their moved was planned before the win and the patriarch of the family still lives next door but one to us.
Same here Tilly and no, I don't know anyone who has won the raffle!
Every raffle ticket number that is generated and printed on your physical or virtual ticket , is entered into the draw (database). The computer then selects 50 or 100 database entry (raffle tickets from virtual hat).
So the odds of winning are for one raffle ticket depends on how many lotto tickets bought by the public (lines).
So if If the prize fund is say £4,000,000 that day and this is approx half of fund (£8,000,000) ...then odds are 4,000,000 to 1 ish

But you get 50 tries ..so F knows what that makes the odds lol
Interesting mathematics Sir A R but it's completely at odds (pardon the pun!) with what's on the National Lottery's website, where the figure is put at 1:320,000
have not done it since the price rise...have saved myself a fortune..
Confused then lol
I thought you got 1 raffle ticket per line you purchased ?
and if the public purchased a few million lines for each draw.
Anyone fancy explaining the maths behind 320,000 to 1 odds instead ?
ah ...I guess they duplicate the raffle numbers. So X people could have the same raffle number , but each one get 20,000 squid if they win
