Where to find volunteering jobs in accounting

Following on from my previous question, does anyone know of websites where my partner can look for volunteering accounting jobs? Thank you to all.

FF, Google "volunteer accounting jobs" - I am amazed at how many came up! also, local charities and voluntary groups might like an offer of help. Most of us who work voluntarily in local groups outside the day job would jump at the offer of volunteer help.

Look up charitable organisations in directory or on-line, give them a ring or email them; relay that you are interested in volunteering you time in your particular field of expertise.

When I googled that boxtops the majority of stuff that came back was for volunteering abroad.

sorry FF, didn't realise that. I think the suggestions about ringing up some of your local charities or voluntary organisations is a good idea - we have a local Volunteer Bureau, perhaps you have something similar where you live, it coordinates help for quite a lot of local groups.
