This morning I was painting all round the skirting in the living room, had enough of that & went down Manchester for the parade!

Kids are trying to kill each other, mrmum's watching the match and so I've just poured a glass of wine and am sat on here before doing dinners!

Cooked sausages in mustard and maple syrup ready for gathering tomorrow at friends up in the hills. Bought icecream and chocolate for after Indian takeaway, got bottle of wine and dvd. Wedding aniversary tomorrow but we are going to be out so doing it it all tonight. 34 years !! where does all the time go ?

went to visit the Old Town Jail in town with Hubby and kids -very entertaining and went for a stroll round the town and ancient graveyard, had steak pie, mash, carrots and green beans for dinner, made some white choc chip cookies (out a packet) and just waiting for them to cool. Apart from the usual tidying and laundry, that's pretty much my day.

Talking to an old friend for 3 hours on the phone. My brother in law and his girlfriend have my boys for the weekend.

We were going out but hubby swopped his night off as his work mate's girlfriend's dog died and he needed to be with her.

Had a pub lunch though
