Hi, I am currently on maternity leave and trying to complete tax credits form.

It is asking for income from April 08-09 but I was earning a full time wage then, now I am only earning basic maternity pay.

It all seems a bit backward to me but am I right in putting in my full time wage.

Someone said when I go back to work later in year part time, I should ring them and let them know updated wage, is this right??

TIA

All I can advise is to ring them. I think you can apply by phone.
I would ring them.

I claim tax credits and always call them, because then u can ask questions and gain an estimation via the phone. It is alot easier.
