If it is ink from a ball point pen cover the area with Fairy Liquid and let it soak right into the fabric, then gently rub the stain while holding it under cold running water.

Hairspray believe it or not .Give it a good squirt and then rinse it under a running cold tap.You may have to repeat a time or two but it will get it out .
Always worked on inky school shirts .
Whatever you do don't wash the article in hot water until the stain has gone or it will set .
