Wife of William (ken barlow) died suddenly yesterday aged 58. She'd never been ill so that must have been a terrible shock for William!!

How very sad. They really did seem a devoted couple. He must be truly devastated (Ican't believe Bill Roache is 76 years old - remarkable for his age).

I was very sad to read that. Have read his autobiography.
He comes over as a gentle sort of guy and was devoted to Sara, I've always liked him.
