Away for a month and need a credit card with no charges for using abroad, hopefully it will all be paid off at the end of the month. Can you recommend one please ??

Nationwide and the Post Office are I think the only ones. The latter might be marginally easier to get - advertised as the 'peoples credit card'
Not absolutely sure I understand the question. What do you mean by "a credit card with no charges for using abroad"?

Do you mean they don't make an additional transaction charge because it's abroad? Or just that the card itself isn't one you have to pay for but it will work abroad?

If it's the latter just about any card other than American Express will do the job and there are no charges provided you pay it all off. I use my mastercard when I'm abroad and have used Visa in the past. I don't appear to be being charged for anything additional. It's probably built into the exchange rate of course but even that is better than the money changers give you anyway.
All credit cards build a charge into the exchange rate - except the two I mentioned, Nationwide and Post Office
Yeah, I knew the Nationwide didn't. I didn't even know the Post Office DID a credit card!

I more meant I wasn't actually certain that's what the question was asking. You're probably right though.
