how much does it cost to go bankrupt

I know it was �475, but may be more via some solicitors, maybe others know more than me. is it for you liskeard, ? there may be other options, why not talk to Citizens advice?

for me, after i spend my last quid i'll be bankrupt. so that will be �1.

Cost is �495 unless you are on certain means tested benefits, in which case it is possible to get the �150 ourt fee part of the cost remitted (you have to apply to Court for this).

If you contact Payplan be careful they don't try to steer you to an IVA - these are more onerous than bankruptcy and not generally suitable for most people's circumstances.
