I've found a 2 bedroom semi-detached home to rent in Devon, we'll be renting from my boyfriends sister so the rent may be flexible. I was wondering how much everything else costs on average, i.e water, electric, gas, etc etc.
PLease help!

Depends how you want to pay your bills as different companies offer direct debits with 10% knocked off your bill per annum.

I pay, roughly, 25/month for water; electricity/gas 32 month from one company; council tax varies from council to council so check their website unless landlord is including this within the rent; insurance (contents only as the landlord is meant to insure the building) will also vary according to where you are. So if you are paying, we will use a round figure of 750/per month on rent you will need to have at least 200 on top for your bills and then whatever your food is per month. But as I said, these amounts vary from place to place as does rent so you need to make sure that you use the family connection to the best of your ability!
