pay off morgage or not

i have a mortgage of �24,000.My fixed rate has just ended.My new payment with Nationwide has gone up by 30%.I only have about 1 year left before my endowement finishes.I have the cash to pay it off,shall I do it, if so shall I sell the endowments or let them run to the end of the term.
