Can anyone tell me how long a search on experian stays on your record for? I am meaning a search by a finance company and search by mail order catalogues. Thanks.

thanks for that oneeyedvic, I thought it was 3 or 6 years.
No that is for credit agreements actually taken out. (6 years).

A search is only relevant for 12 months sorry not 6 months
