I am setting up a website for a bit of fun with some friends from work, that may earn us some money. I am ready to launch but am worried that I need to form a limited company. Is this the case?

You don't need to set up a company, although, under certain circumstances, it can be advantageous to be a Director. With a Limited Company you will also incur other costs (e.g. for filing reports and accounts plus, probably, accountant's costs).

You don`t say what sort of site you are devleoping.I`m working with a group of guys in the UK and we`re putting together an online gaming site.
