I'm a college student getting EMA for my attendance. Last year on my first year course I gave up trying to get it half way through the year . After putting in several fully signed sheets I got no money. Now as I re-enroll for my second year I find myself wondering if I should bother...

Have you actually contacted the people that deal with EMA? It seems strange that you waited until half way through the year and then gave up. Persaonlly if I hadn't received it within the first few weeks I would be straight on the phone.

Are you actually entitled to it?

Yes I'm entitled to the full 30 pound a week as I live with my grandparents so the income is low. I have spoken to the people at the college who deal with it and all they ever said was that I must have made a mistake on the shhet. But even then a letter is sent out to inform of errors. I am going to appl this year but I'm just a little scepticle at the minute.
