self employed, can i get any benefits

i am self employed and work has dried up, im coming up to 60 and some weeks only earn �80, im not a home owner and have no savings, my wife works full time earning about �200 a week after tax, can i claim any benefit to help me please. thankyou

that was a great help cushtyfred, NOT!!!!
You could try entitledto.com You put in all your figures and it tells you what you are entitled to claim. Or try AgeConcern they helped my grandparents.
You can get a bus pass if nothing else (once you are 60).
You'll also get National Insurance credits once you are 60.
Ditto sight tests and prescriptions

Your wife working full time disqualifies you for JSA

Try dee5's site anyway - it may show something up
or if your self employed work has dried up, why not try gettinig a job?
