hi, i need to know the cheapest / free way to send regular ammounts of money to my a/c in spain, halifax.es does not allow me to transfer funds to the a/c i must have there. thank you in advance. allgram.

what if you had it in a normal bank account, couldn't you transfer it by telephone banking ... I do that from an ordinary UK bank account to one in USA but not sure if Spain is the same.

Nationwide dont charge a fee to withdraw money from cash machines abroad. I use it all the time here in New Zealand without a problem.

Lloyds also do an international bank account which you can elect to have in two currencies ... maybe that might work ??

try speaking to Abbey national...They were brought by a large Spanish bank..Santaner...i think
