Best exercise to accompany lessened calorie/alchohol intake to reduce expanding beer belly, for someone prone to back trouble (chronic muscle spasm) ie. no crunches..

Get a dog. You then feel obliged to walk it every day. Gradually increase the time/distance of your walk. It takes some time but it gets the beer belly down. Trouble is it works a thirst up & you have to drink more beer. Good luck.
