I wish to put aside �200 for my son who can have access to it in 10 years time,i know its not a lot,but better than nowt,any suggestions where,or just in a saving account....thanks.

i did the same for my son, i paid in 300 pounds into an abbey child savings account and put in an extra few quid each month, (hes only 3) so by the time hes 18 , a nice little lump will be available for him.
Why not get a childrens bond. I looked on the internet and there are lots of different ones.
If your son is not a taxpayer, make sure that you check with your savings organisation and fill in the appropriate form to ensure that tax is not deducted from any interest paid on the account. Can't remember what it's called, R85??? but they will know which one it is.
