We've just bought a reposessed property and wanted to check that the fact it was reposessed from the previous owner won't affect our credit score if we apply for credit.

Please help!!

it shouldn't effect your credit history at all, when ppl do a credit check on you its about your finances and your addresses linked to them, so previous ppl in the address will have debts linked to their name. try www.creditexperts.co.uk (possibly .com) signed up with them for free 1 month trial and helped no end!
The only way it might be a problem is if you are unlucky enough to have the same surname as the previous dodgy occupants, which could lead people to think there is a link between you both.

Apart from that, as choc says companies check you not the property so you shouldbe OK.
