They are not a lender they just take your arrangement fee and in theory try to get you a loan. However the fact that you need to go this route means you have dodgy credit history so essentially they will probably not be able to get you a loan but they will keep the arrangement fee for trying. So to answer your questions, no, yes.
Steer well clear. They are just like the rest of the loan sharks out there, with promises they have no intention of keeping. As stated above, its the arrangement fee they are after and will string you along until they get it.
Dont be naive, all these companies are a sham!
