Is there anyway of transferring a credit from a store card on to another credit card or to my bank account? I don't particularly need to buy anything from the store to which the store card belongs, but I could do with the money! I'm not sure if credit cards allow you to transfer credit. Grateful for any suggestions.

Reading this again, I don't know if what I've asked makes any sense! I have a store card that is in the black rather than in the red.

Just ask for a refund - you should get a cheque or they may even pay it to your bank account.
