i was told that hurricane katrina would affect the american stoke market and so the exchange rate would be affected too. i'm going to new york in october and i've been keeping an eye on it.  on sunday it was $1.80 to the pound, and now it's $1.78 to the pound.  does anyone have any idea how much lower it's going to sink?

Depends on a few factors, the estimated damage, the price of oil and technical analysis in my experience it wont fall below �1.72!!
