Is there a time limit to submit an invoice for an agreed payment on goods and services?

10:54am (Started!) Did you agree by written contract?  If so, and you delivered the goods/performed the services, then there shouldn't be a time delay in claiming what's owed to you under contract. 

If it was by oral contract, that's equally binding, but very hard to prove.  Perhaps there's a delivery slip somewhere?  This would help?

A bit more of a context would be helpful.  I'm afraid the contract law and SSOGA stuff is never clear cut.... law hardly ever is!
