Direct Debit I think
Probably Direct Debit Request
I don't know Ramesses. Could be Direct Debit - but why the R? It doesn't say much for your Bank, or mine, that one has to search the internet for the answer and still not find it. I'll watch with interest!
On the Barclays Bank website it says it means a Direct Debit, it doesn't say what the "R" is for but no doubt it means request. It also says that BBP means a bill payment but why are there two Bs for that?
I think you will find in the banking world Debit is abbreviated to DR and credit CR therefore DDR becomes Direct Debit.
The Barclays site says DR means Debit Balance (Overdrawn) but again what does the "R" mean?
It will be an abbreviation for (over)DR(awn)
What do the abbreviations mean on my statement?

Here's a list of what common banking abbreviations relate to:
APR - Annual Percentage Rate (relates to credit interest).
BBP - bill payment.
BCC - Barclays Connect Card.
BGC - bank giro credit.
CAT - a standard applied to ISAs that stands for reasonable Charges, easy Access, fair Terms.
CDL - Career Development Loan.
CHAPS - Clearing House Automated Payment System (a means of transferring money).
DDR - Direct Debit.
DR - debit balance (overdrawn).
IBAN - International Bank Account Number (you can find this on your statement).
IMO - International Money Order.
ISA - Individual Savings Account.
REM - remittance: a cheque credited to your account that was not paid in at your home/own account-holding branch or bank.
REV - reversal: a standing order or Direct Debit has been recalled.
STO - standing order.
UNP - unpaid.
DDR means direct debit, it can be further declared as direct debit request, direct debit remittance.
