Ashtons and Parsons teething powders worked really for us when our wee guy got his first teeth at 20 weeks.  He's now 19mnths and the last back ones are coming thru...and we still use the powders.

sugar free bonjela worked for us. the twins are now 20 months and almost have all their teeth thank goodness!

Don't forget that paracetamol based medicines are also designed to treat pain as well as fevers so combined with a teething gel and a cooling ring your daughter will hopefully get some relief, mine did. Hope this helps.

We used to find that infant paracetamol suspension or children's ibuprofen (which also helps to reduce the inflammation as well as the pain), combined with calgel or bonjela used to work just fine.

I also heard that those Ashton and Parsons powders (which are herbal) work quite well too but I never tried them.

Good luck!

Hi there

I have three boys, and with all of them used the same technique shown to me by a grandmother of many.

All you need is one clean finger. find the bit of gum which is sore, and gently but firmly press.
