Hi, Is there anybody here who has an income protection plan?  As in protection against being made redundant so you would have money to cover utility bills, etc.  (I am not talking about mortgage protection or sickness protection as I already have these)  If so can you recommend a company I could use for this?  Ive been turned down for a couple as I work for a computing company and am apparently considered a high risk....any help much appreciated....P

No experience of this myself but you could go to www.fool.co.uk and click on Discussion boards and go to "The information desk " or "Helpful fools" forums, where you can post your question. Also, under "personal finance topics" there is an "insurance" section which has information about income protection policies.

The site is a dedicated financial site where you can ask questions about anything to do with finances. It's free to join.
