Are any of these companies offering to wipe off credit card debt, genuine? some seem to have ministry of justice and OFT certification?

The only way to wipe off debt is to pay it. They are probably offering an IVA - DO NOT TOUCH THEM.

If you have trouble paying your debts go to CAB - they will put you in touch with someone who can help without landing you with even worse problems.
No doubt this company charges an admin fee which you pay up front. I think there may have been a few credit card contracts that didn't comply with the consumer credit act but if yours was with a major provider I can't see that those contracts were flawed
They do nothing that you cannot do yourself and they charge for the privilidge. Do not touch with a bargepole.
