My partner has recently got a PAYE job after being self employed. How long does he have to be with his current employer before we can apply for a mortgae?

I ahd only been with my employer for 3 months when i got my mortgage. It was with the Halifax and I just showed them the 3 payslips I had and a copy of the letter offering me the job.

Thanks very much, i'll give it 3 months then!!
If your partner is doing the same type of work as when he was self employed, then you should be able to get a mortgage now, especially if your partner does not have a probationary period.

It can vary from lender to lender - ask them - you have nothing to lose.
