Has anyone who is eligible received theirs yet?

I was asked this question this morning. I'd completely forgotten about it, but apparently they start paying it from beginning of November.

Just being curious.

Received my Mum's letter this morning advising it will be paid in the next 3 weeks. Neither OH or myself have received our letters yet.
My dad has got his, but I have not, well not got a letter.
Both my husband and myself have received letters, mine came 2 days ago and his this morning
Not yet but expect it soon. They call it Winter Fuel Allowance, I call it Xmas drink allowance.

Mrs B got a letter today to say hers would be paid in the next 2 weeks.
I've not heard anything yet.
Not yet Cupo.
I always seem to get the money before the letter....
Me too, Pasta.

Thank you for the replies.

Jackdaw33 I think your not far wrong. I don't think many people actually use it to pay for fuel. I know a few who use it to buy their christmas presents.

We tend to get ours at different times too.
My heating/water costs are included in my annual rent which I have to pay regardless, so this actually does come as a bonus. Mind you, the £10 extra bonus is taking the proverbial. When first introduced it was equivalent to an extra week's pension.
sista received hers last week
Had mine
Had mine
I am grateful for it very much. Isn't the £10 extra dispensed with now. What was it you only got it if the temperature went high. Sorry, was that right.
yup got mine a few days ago....
and yeah I use it to keep warm .....
I'm not eligible yet, but would put it to my daft electricity costs.

Where does that fit in with the WFA Mamya?
thanks mamy for that link but upon reading it - if a person is entitled to it why don't they £210 WFA - isn't that more paperwork, ink etc etc.
I'm sorry I thought JJ was asking re the £10 Christmas bonus - ignore my contribution.
