BACS payments take 3 working days to clear, with the day of processing counting as 'Day 1'. So, in your case, 'Day 3' (when the payment clears) will be the 24th of this month.

However, if your question relates to future payments as well, you need to remember that weekends and bank holidays aren't 'working days', so (for example) if the 22nd is a Friday, the payment won't clear until Tuesday 26th. (There could be longer delays around Christmas. e.g. if Dec 22nd is a Friday, the payment won't clear until Dec 28th).

If the 22nd falls at a weekend most employers would process the payment on the preceding Friday but some might leave it until the Monday.
