How do you find out when the 0% interest free period runs out on these two credit cards. Is there a way to find it online (I have online accounts with both) or do I have to ring?

If you go to the sites and look at My Rates (or something similar) you should find it there. They have a habit of not telling you though - which it why I keep a note of zero per cent expiry dates, and move my balance elsewhere just before they run out. Ringing up would be the most reliable way, IMO.
