Fagins and the Longbar both owned by Bernard Manning. Fagins especially had some great celebrities nights i'm curious to if they are still there.......late 70's was my last visit......long time ago probably not lol.

What about Pips Night Club, people came from everywhere to get this multi storey experience, loads of rooms with there own style of music.....music to suit everyone.......I never knew what all the fuss was about.....went once and detested it what a dive!!! ...They used to say if you haven't been to Pips you haven't lived ............still can't understand that one!!

I did go to Pips once - with some friends who were Bowie freaks. I can't say I was mesmorised by it, but then I'm not really a 'club' person. Likewise, I went to the Hacienda in its heyday, and didn't really rate that as an experience to be repeated.
