If you have defaulted on loans/left overdrafts unpaid, can your creditors find you if you emigrate to Oz? If so, how?

Yes she is but whats that got to do with you - don't remember my original question ever asking for a moral judgements from anyone!

To THFCUK thats really helpful thanks - do you happen to know how much it was for?  I guess there is a limit on how much they will write off and if you go over that you'll be chased.

she went to lots of different high st banks and got loans out at each one, they were for different amounts but lets say she got loads of money IN cash and she put it in a different named account. i dont want to say how much she got but it was alot. she been gone about 4yrs and they aint caught her yet

I hope they catch her soon and put her in jail where she belongs. Theives like her put up the costs for honest people. There is no such thing as a victimless crime.
