If not, why complain,? they offered him an account in the more plebian wing of their organisation.
It seems he's learnt, as most have, a hard lesson: you can't have the best if you can't afford it.

Coutts, rather than Courts.^
Sandy there have been at least 3 threads on this very subject one of which had 300 plus responses. Imo people are talked out on the subject. I'll summarise people who like nige say the report shows that coutts used his political views to get rid of him, but covered it up with the not enough money reason. Those who don't like nige read the report that he didn't have enough cash so he should stop mianing. There ya go, I saved u reading 300 posts
Crikey sandy. Where have you been in the last two weeks. This topic has been discussed and fought over ad nauseum in at least two threads. It’s been done to death :-)
I thought the main reason WAS the money but it arose when discussing his case that he wasn’t the sort of customer they should be encouraging in the circumstances.
I can sort of understand that. If he’d kept his money up the issue might not have arisen because banks like people with money more than they dislike people’s politics.
Unfortunately they briefed indiscreetly and also lied. So losing the room, so to speak
