Morning, Emmie. Is your eye problem getting any better since the two visits to the specialist? Sunny and 25 here later on today. I have to go downtown this afternoon to buy a couple of grocery items and, of course, beer.

not really getting better, its still bloodshot and i have the worlds worse head pains because of it. I stopped at my local for a couple of beers yesterday and caught up with friends, which was good.

I realize that you British are very proud of your NHS and think it's a great system; however, in your situation with your your knee and eye situations it's not doing so great is it?...I'll probably get a lot of flack for criticizing the NHS:)

i criticise it all the time, so no worry on that score, its top heavy with management and needs a good old overhaul - but that won't happen too many have a vested interest in the NHS, and we plod along. Moorefields is a different kettle of fish, like Great Ormond Street hospital for children, both world renowned and i have great respect for both hospitals.

Let's just hope that Sqad doesn't join the thread and express his opinions regarding the NHS!:)
