Douglas unfortunately have been a sedentary person all my as in all my jobs. Certainly I know where the problem. But the sight of that last night and in the light too - I sneaked away to the front very suripptitiously (something like) - nobody was looking at me. This has to go. Big @rse. Big time
Buttock clenches?
Option 1 - Embrace your big bum, it is womanly and many men find a good sized @rse preferable to one that resembles an 8 year old boys!

Option 2 - Diet and exercise
J Lo's best feature you have ;)
I hope you and harv have a nice walk,
If you've got a biggish bum Conne then you need to lose weight generally as you can't really target weight loss to one area, but Squats and Lunges help to tone your bum. I've got a cheerfully sized behind too and a big boobs and I find as long as you keep a nice slim waist the overall impression isn't one of fatness. It's all in the hourglass shape, so I'd go for waist exercises too. Having a big behind hasn't hurt Jennifer Lopez too much:)
Sharingan.... Are you single ....? :)
Just DONT do Thelwell or youll create 4 bandy legs

thanks Shar but you are kiddie compared to me - I don't have all the strength because of my ill-spent youth.

We should have met 50 years ago......a match made in heaven...;-)

Can't agree with your advices though...woman with health problems and well past middle aged doing squats and lunges (whatever they are)?.......naaah" doesn't make sense does it?

See my original post....I wasn't joking....

sorry when I saw jo-lo's @rse in bgt a few weeks ago I wanted to boke. Not a pretty sight.
Lol no sorry jd- nearly about a week ago mind you :)

You can do Clenches sitting in your computer chair Conne ( now everyone has a weird image of me) :)
There are some key questions, your age, weight, metabolism, how effective exercise has been before, your general diet, have you always had a big bum or has it just crept up on you recently??
Sqad is right though, squats and lunges are a relatively high impact core exercise that you must be physically fit to undertake. Depending on your natural shape and metabolism some strict dieting combined with long walks, some cardio at the gym etc may work.
As another poster mentioned although women can have "problem areas" it is impossible to just lose weight in one area.
I would go with my first option and embrace it, providing it isnt getting you down too much!
