Christmas is on its way and this means over indulgence for many of us. However, as so many of you have done so well over the past few months will you be letting yourselves have some treats? Or will it be strictly diet all the way to New Year?

Here is last months thread

Oh dear, I have completely forgotten this week...Christmas fever I suppose. I'll wait until next Wed. now.
Well done you Jan. Now you are feeling the consequences of stitcking to your goal. Carry on and you will have lots of empty places in your cupboard!!
The scales have been up and down over the last fortnight to such an extent I don't know where I'm supposed to be. All a bit of a downer really. Best can figure out is I seem to have gained about ¼ lb over that period, and I really don't know why. Sure I go over my target on the weekend, but I always do, and I tend to be back on track the other 5 days, but I've effectively stuck, and with Xmas looming. It's not ideal.
OG I think you should ask Father Christmas for some new scales for Christmas. Yours seem to be giving you no end of a run around......
I've looked on the Net but the thing is the ones I have are not that old. Oh for a proper scale with the sliding weights and stuff :-) Maybe I'll try to find a rich relative to buy me a set for Xmas. Have to be a long lost one I think.
Well done Jan. I completely forgot as I had quite a few things to do today .
well done Jan, keep up the good work. I've stayed the same, as long as I can do that over Christmas, I am not too worried, I'll just get back on track in the New Year. Just don't want to undo all the hard work done so far. (just over 2 stone since March) without being too restrictive - I could have probably lost more, but I know if I am too tough on myself I give up.
Sod the dieting over Christmas... no freaking way!

I go all out at Christmas, and don't give it a second thought... until I get back on the scales after new year. It's too hard to diet over the festive period. Far too many treats and alcoholic delights about.

I'm not on any particular diet, but I do always watch what I eat. Christmas is the one time of year where I don't care... at all.
Better this morning, now claims I lost 1¼ lbs over the fortnight, which is more believable. And there was just ⅛ lbs difference between pre a& post shower :-)

Yes indeed, congratulations to all who have done well recently, I read and am glad, but naughty me, don't always post encouragement.
Fliptheswitch I agree with you as lik me you will know how to get back on track. Mary if you see this I am over Karen's to let dog out as she is busy today and I am on this new posh I pad but I cant see how to do e mails on it will find out later as not going to upset it lol. Mail you later
Good Morning Everybody, Well I am still the same which is undeserved because of dipping into Christmas treats. Oh dear this month is soooooo hard.

How are the rest of you coping?
Well done Xstitcher. I have been a naughty girl but I have an excuse it is xmas and have to do some sampling. I have gained a little over a pound so that's not too bad. Will recify that and the rest in the new year. MERRY XMAS TO EVERONE.
MERRY XMAS TO EVERYONE AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
and Merry Christmas from me too! I've fallen by the wayside a bit in past weeks, and we went to a mess dinner last night so I have put on this morning.... but it's nearly New Year, and time for those resolutions!
I forgot to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, ours is special this year as our son is finally home for good from Afaghanistan after two tours of duty down in that horrible place.
Wasn't going to weigh myself this week as I had already had a couple of little treats but braved the scales this morning and put on 2lb already! Will have to cut down on those treats now over Christmas as don't want to put on too much.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all and see you back here with our new year resolutions to start all over again. xxxxx
I've put on 1 and a half pounds, but heigh-ho. Merry xmas and a Happy New Year to everyone. Xstitcher I'm so pleased you've got your son back safe and sound. XXX
Thanks so much notafish. Don't worry about that pound, you know what to do when the holiday season is over and I'm sure you will banish it then.
I don't believe it!!! I haven't held back over Christmas but have put on nothing. Well my weight is far from acceptable for myself and am going to be doing some serious things about it soon, but am flabbergasted and happy that I am the same. I didn't expect that.

May I wish you all and our Ed. a happy and healthy New Year with lots of goals being met. Each and every one of you gives support on this great little club of ours.

See you next year...ONWARDS AND DOWNWARDS.....
Morning all,

Thats great Xstitcher, wish I could say the same but I feel like I've put on half a stone :o(

My resolution is to lose it so back to the diet on 2nd Jan.
Well done Xstitcher wish I could say the same but like you Tigger my healthy eating will start when my fridge is empty and that won't be long.
And I wish you all a Happy New Year with good results starting again in the New Year.
