Ok i know this is a long shot but it was something that was brought up today in work.Would it be possible to leave on a plane at the stroke of midnight on New Years Eve & fly to a country that is yet to celebrate it there & then leave that place once again at the stroke of midnight & fly to another country in time for their New Year .How Many countries could you visit so you were there for midnight when it was their time to celebrate the New Year?.It is up to you where in the world you start this journey.

if you could get a plane that would fly fast enough, then yes. You could have a new years midnight in every time zone.

I'm not going to work out the optimum (if it exists), but you could certainly have New Year in New Zealand and then fly to South America to do it again (if you could get someone to take you at that time of night).  Now Concorde is out of service, the UK / US way is not possible on regular airlines.

By the time you have factored in take off and landing times, it would be difficult to fly forwards and get into another time zone.

You might have problems finding airports which allow planes to take off at midnight. Local residents do complain.

I know what u mean jno.But i'm asking the question as let's say it is possible to do.
You could use an harrier jet that can land on a spot no need for a runway and refuel in the air. Sometimes you don't have to fly to your new destination just look up were the timeline is situated then you can stand on one side of the border then when it is midnight cross the borderto anotherr country and then do it again
