Bloke should just throw her out, I would, she can do what she likes then

They have 3 children together and she has some from a previous relationship total of 6,they are treating this poor baby as a consequence not a living being
She shoulda thought about that before she took her knickers off, she's an adult, she made an adult decision, she made a bad adult decision, tough, she's an adult, cope.
It's not the man's fault.
she should thought about that before she had the affair. I know the affair may partly be a result of her husband's actions but nobody just "falls pregnant" in this day and age.

Did she not think of contraception or STDs when she was having sex outside the marriage?

Agree with you both, but my point is that her husband/partner is making her make a choice
Try it the other way around, the/your man has an affair, his bit of strange gets pregnant, has the baby and hands it over to him and promptly leaves the country, would/should you raise the child?

Lets keep to the question everton,i would be devastated if my husband had a baby through a affair but wouldnt wish the woman to terminate the baby
but would you take on the baby?
Question Author
Some women have cos they loved their husband so much, personally adoption would the right route
Personally, I'd just get shut of her (well rid), nine months is a long time to be reminded constantly about your partner's infidelity.
The man's the victim in this just as much as the unborn child, neither asked to be placed in this situation.
You must be joking...surely?
Nine months Everton? What about the months it takes to recover from child birth?

If my OH even slept with someone else, let alone got them pregnant, he'd be out on his ear.

Roles reversed...I think it's perfectly reasonable to expect a woman to choose. New baby or family as is it. She's lucky she even got the choice.
I'm always interested to see peoples responses on this type of thread. I actually support the right to choice when it comes abortion, but I do also owe my entire existence to somebody choosing to put up for adoption rather than abort 37 years ago.
Lucky us Chuck ;-)

I still don't think it's unreasonable for a man to feel like that though (I'm a Catholic an all)
there's a babe's life at stake here......I would leave (and sue OH for divorce, if he's rich) and take ALL my kids.

Most mothers value their kids more than OHs - as do fathers. This mother may get better support from the babe's father.
that catholic thing is why i'm here :) (half irish by birth btw:))
