There is one exception sqad - any man that is aka sqad would not be forgiven for cheating - still think we are the perfect couple haha?

sqad - do yo u think thats where the problems start then? when you get married? I suppose it does kind of put pressure on you? Saying those vows perhaps makes you realise you are no longer free to do what you want kinda thing perhaps and we always want what we can't have more don't we?

Yes you did sqad.....!!!

Why shouldn't I get married though?

If everything was black and white, life weould be so simple wouldn't it, suppose its the colour that makes it interesting!

I am not worried if I get married or not. I'm very happy as I am

karma...can't remember the source, but the incidence of divorce is higher in couples that have lived together first.

No I think it is time and familiarity that makes a marriage go sour....not the marriage vows.
Marriage in most cases is a ...lottery.
I'm happy as I am as well 4get. But he asked me and I said yes :-)
Sqad.....I've been friends with him since I was 5.

Licking eyeballs has a lot to answer for....!!

Question Author
too right sqad

Oh you wouldn't really think divorce would be higher in couples that had lived together first.

Yeah I guess it is to do with familiarity and not keeping the spice and letting things go etc. too

I like the idea of getting married, someone saying those vows in public to me, the dress, the flowers, the big day oh the romance of it haha but then really it shouldn't really matter if the whole world doesn't know how you feel about each other as long as you both know how you feel. Plus it is very expensive and besides if you have been together years and years you are practically married anyway and probs richer too!

Having said that though, marriage still kind of appeals! Must be the status that it brings then! who knows!

Divorce doesn't mean you cant share important family occasions.

Men easily fill the vacancy created by divorce as they're not 'burdened' with the kids. So, make sure the fathers 'bled' well.

Like I said in a different thread. We're doing a vegas jobby. The only reason I would have had a church wedding was for my Dad....but he's dead now.
Yes, ummmm.

But not in your heart & mind, eh. Same as my Dad.
Question Author
Sorry to hear that ummmm :(

My colleague wants to do a vegas jobby too!
