My partner has only said he love's me with out being promted twice once when we first meet ( which through me as we had only known each other for about 3 months) and once last year. Since then he hasn't said it. When speaking to him about it he just say's "its not me" and that I know that he does! I think it is important for people to say and for them to hear. I'm not sure if I can live in a relationship with a man that cannot show/speak his feelings. I know he cares very much but not sure if thats enough.
He does say it back when I say it to him but I'm begining not to believe it as he never says it unless I do.

I don't beleive that you should say it all the time but enough so that people know. Am I making to much of something or not?

It's nice to be told.

Men want beer and football.

We want to be told that we are loved.

If only they could understand how simple it is ... !!
Accept people the way they are.
Yes you are.

Loving someone isn't just about saying it- it's showing it too. As long as if you know he loves you, does it really matter if he says it or not?
What 3 words do you NOT want to hear when you are making love?
Honey I'm home.
I'm sure he loves you, boobars ( great name btw! :0) )

He does say it back when you say it first, so i would'nt worry about it.
Talk to him about it though, as he probably thinks you know that he loves you, and does'nt need to keep telling you.
"Am I making to much of something or not?"...............

maybe looking for a problem which is'nt really there, sweetheart, is all

All the best

love the bear x

Morning, JJ xx ...........men want beer and football, eh?
.......................................and porridge, honey and fish..... oh ...and picnic baskets, dont forget!...................lol
Just what is it with you and picnic baskets, Yogi ?
If you cant say it , then you dont mean it.

In my opinion anyways.

Just saying it to pacify a woman is wrong.
well at least he's gone off the KFC.....
hi cfart
It's what makes me get up in the morning, JJ xx

If said too much it loses it's meaning and many believe it's just words anyway.

It's much more important that he cares for you and treats you right (and you him). If the speaking/showing feelings thing is an issue, then you need to talk about that, but saying "I Love You" isn't really the same thing.

The little things he does for you that let you know he cares are much more important. Maybe ask why you need to be told?
hello leggy...........didn't recognise you for a minute....
Hi crafty x......... and legless too

Speaking of which, crafty, i may indulge lunchtime in a bit of finger- lickin chicken, as i have'nt had it for a while.

If you've never been brought up to say these words they can sound rather soppy (heard it in films etc). A loving look, being taken by the hand, giving loving kisses, going out of their way to show you care etc all SHOW he loves you. I know of couples who are always saying they love each other but I also know some of them are cheating, or talk about their partners behind their backs...
But you do know that he loves you, don't you lass - because he tells you so, albeit after a prompt.

Does he treat you right? Is he good to you? Show you consideration in your day to day life?

Try not to dwell on what he doesn't say - there are lots of folk who aren't very vocal regarding their emotions - but actions speak louder than any words ever could.
Chappy im sorry but i think its a major part

just a personal opinion

but if someone couldnt say it to me id think they were embarassed or didnt love me .

i wouldnt be a make do love until, msomething better came along.

though i know many people make that choice it wouldnt be me.

yogi i dunno whats going on with the editor

seems hes having a breakdown or summit

totally weird
it would be worse if he said it twice a day and didnt mean it.
