Immigrants Leave for Home
With pictures of Romanian immigrants in Northern Ireland splashed around the world many have felt sympathy to their cause. They are here legally as they are part of the wider EU.
Will this stop a flood of refugees from elsewhere wishing to make their home in Ireland or will they continue to target England where the population are more compassionate? If so how can we prevent this surge?

The numbers of new Eastern European workers coming is has declined dramatically. Jan - Mar Last year 32, 365, this year down to 12,480.
The number of Eastern European people leaving over the last year has doubled.

While they may be here legally, it relies on the fact that some idiot MEPs decided the enlargement of the EU allowed Roma gypsies to travel from Romania to Ireland.
Does Europe need this?
Roma gypsies do have a problem integrating into society and there are reports of increased crime and begging.
Italy has a huge problem with Roma gypsies and are even paying Roma gypsies to go back to Romania.
This is a typical example of the short sighted judgement of the people who run the EU.
If you have "rich" countries like UK, France, Germany, Italy etc in the same EU as poor countries like Romania it is obvious the poorest of the people in the poor countries will flock to the rich countries.
But what benefit do they bring to the rich countries?
In this case almost nothing, and it looks like some of the people in Ireland have now got their wishes, having driven these people out of the country.
There was a rise in anti-immigrant parties all across Europe in the recent European elections and I can see this happening more and more as the stupitiy of this borderless Europe grows.

If they do the britishNaziParty and the other illiterate fools who spout such pathetic nonsense will see wht a state the uk really is in.
Can you tell me how the national health service and the farming industry just as 2 exmples would survive without immigrant labour?
Ill tell you this if you think the lazy idle chavs collec ting giros will farm the land or even clean hospitals never mind go to the extent of training to be a nurse or a doctor then youve obviously been smoking some of their cannabis or drinking their white cider.

I have been suggesting for some time, both on AB and elsewhere, that the EU�s Utopian dream of a borderless state stretching from Ireland to Western Asia (and almost certainly into Asia soon) is bound to end in tears.
The economies of the constituent countries are so disparate that it is obvious that those people in the poorer nations will up sticks and head for greener grass, given the merest sniff of a chance.
Of course there is no benefit to the recipient nations in these movements. The notion that people such as Roma gypsies are going to integrate seamlessly into Western European cultures and economies is lunacy. Such mass migration is already causing massive social and economic problems.
I don�t hold any brief for the manner in which these people have been driven out. The people to blame are the lunatic politicians who allowed the movements in the first place, believing that some sort of amalgamated Shangri-La can be created just because they have signed a few treaties over some agreeable dinners.
Meanwhile the people of the affected nations, many of whom are opposed to further integration (with the few who have been given the chance voting as such), have to soldier on and live with the consequences.
It would be interesting to learn, leggy just which jobs the expelled Roma gypsies were doing in Northern Ireland which the already settled population would not undertake. The UK is full and the sooner that is accepted the better. The way to deal with job vacancies (not that there are too many at present) is to get the career unemployed off their backsides (instead of showering them with gifts and money) before we ship in any more unnecessary labour.

outside the dole office
every person leaving was asked if they wanted to work they said yes
then the reporter said there were jobs in the local job center paying 7 pounds per hour
when the doleys were told the job was picking cauliflowers they said sod that thats back breaking
i can stay at home and get my giro mate.

Hardly leggy. It would mean that people in our community would be able to get their jobs back.
Gromit, no-one wants them here. It's a shame but that's how it is. If I were to move into someone's country, take their jobs and stick two fingers up at their customs, I too would expect a less than warm welcome.
