I broke up with my ex and first love/first sexual partner about year and a half ago, have been fine and not really thought of him much for the best part of that time. Now all of a sudden I am thinking of him again with a heavy heart.

I thought I was well and truly over him!

I think Mani may be right, you could be a bit lonely.

I have certainly gone through it, thinking about a past relationship remembering all the good times and being nostalgic when in fact there were also 101 good reasons why we were not still together.

The sun is shining the evenings are getting lighter, make plans, put them on a calendar and make sure you have at least one entry every couple of weeks, something to look forward to. You will soon stop thinking about him in that way and who knows you may soon have someone else to think about?

Enjoy yourself and get out there, lifes too short..........

I want 3 things on that calendar in the next half hour - go!

I think you might be right about it being loneliness. I do get a bit lonely. Think its with the sunshine coming out to and remembering summers with someone and then theres songs on the radio that were playing when we were together. Think it is just a bout of nostalgia! Hope it goes soon, not too keen on it. At the time of the split I was constantly telling myself think of the bad think of the bad and forget the good, to help me get through it but I also think its sad that the good memories have faded into the background a bit.
so what do you have on your calendar?

Thanks everyone btw - forgot to mention that!

HJT40 - on calendar - finish decorating dads bathroom. Join a tennis club or something to get fit. Thats it really. Go shopping, spend money, find new job. Hmm nothing that involves a great friendship or companionship though. I miss the companionship that we had. We shared the same silly sense of humour. Don't get me wrong he could be a **** as well but these are the things I miss and need back right now!
