It's been over a year since I split up with my long term boyfriend, he was 25 when I met him and I was only just 18. We split up because we both got a bit bored, I wanted to go out and he wanted to stay in, we both thought it was for the best. I wanted to give it another go and he kept saying no. He said it was the age difference. Now he's 29 and has started dating a girl who is only 20, she's a year younger than me and kinda looks like me too (same figure, hair, eyes etc). I threw everything that he bought me and any photos away. I felt alot better. I went round to his house the other night to discover he still had lot's of my stuff around his house. Why is this? And why does his new girlfriend not mind? And why can't I seem to move on? I feel so unhappy sometimes. Any advice would be so much appreciated. Thankyou. x

That guy will always have boring relationships with girls that are your age and look like you. The thing is. You are a type that feels that he is not enough. And maybe this other new girl that he is with will leave him too if she is like you (type). As far as him having your stuff laying around, does not mean anything, he might not even be aware of it or maybe thinks that you might return for them. In either case if these are valubles, come back for them, if they are clothes or shoes and etc., dont. I have had bad relationships where I left and never came back for my stuff cause I was badly hurt emotionally. Start doing cool stuff for yourself like, go hiking or drive out to see nature, go travel, go to the mall and walk around and check out new cool items, buy some sweet shake or coffie, eat an expensive piece of chocolate. Love yourself, dont think about bad thing that happaned to you, otherwise you will cry and your chest cavity will hurt like hell.
