Am I imagining it, or have both brands become much thinner? What loo paper is soft and thick?

I stopped using andrex years ago because, while thick, it was no longer soft.
I'm using Velvet at the moment...It's ok.

Also made good tracing paper.

Warning, both applications should be undertaken before or instead of wiping.

You're right, Douglas. I always found that if i tried to use the Izal to turn my comb into a musical instrument 'after' i had wiped, the notes were always a tad muted.

We only used Izal when I was growing up. Soft toilet rolls went very damp in the outside loo and got nibbled

That's it, Izal (not Izel). It was also "medicated".
