Tuesday. All dry, mild and calm here. Long may it last.

The Light up a Life service at Minchinhampton church last night was beautiful and emotional. Led by Allie Vowles, a local TV girl, choirs from the local primary school Tynedale choir and dursley Male Voice Choir aided by hospice staff did a great job with the vocals. A ginormous tree with hundreds of gold stars on it, each one with the name of a lost love one on it looked beautiful. Near the end of the service the church lights were dimmed and the tree lit up. It looked amazing! Mince pies (home made, but not by me!) and mulled wine were enjoyed by all. I was chatting with Allie, who has personal contact with the hospice, she held my hand as we talked. I ain't gonna wash it for a week! :o} She will always seem a little different when I see her on the idiot box! :o} A beautiful evening.

Have a happy day everyone.
