Cooking the same meals week in week out. I knew I did this, because they are things that everybody will eat, just didn't realise how much until daughters boyfriend came in last night and when told we were having curry for tea came back with "but it's Thursday, it should be lasagne".

No order to what I cook. Although we do have regular favourites.
Yes but the reasoning for it is that I am a very fussy eater. So it is generally easier to just stick to the same list - although I don't have Lasagne night. We tend to buy the same food every week and try to do something different with it, I wish I enjoyed food more.
I remember thinking as a child that if it's mince it must be Tuesday.
just depends whats in the fridge/how lazy i'm feeling
I had to cook 3 separate meals last night as oh and I are on a diet, his son was visiting and he's a type 1 diabetic and our 14 year old son is the fussiest eater i've ever known and didn't want what we were having.
I cook a couple of different meals each night. Depends who's in.
Come serving time, I've eaten off the fumes so am not that hungry.
I try not to cook the same thing more than once in a couple of months aprt from Baltis, pork shepherds pie, and roast chicken, thats because I get bored ...Redman eats everything
I cook one completely new dish every week - a good way of finding new favourites.
Friday is pasta. Ight. Other than that is could be anything.
I used to and it was annoying when my sons used to go
"Monday night, it must be spaghetti".
Now I am unpredictable and sometimes don't cook at all!
The only thing that's usually guaranteed is a roast on sunday during the winter, and BBQ in summer (nice salad if it's raining)
I only cook for myself and will have phases of eating the same thing 3 or 4 times in a row because I am enjoying it, but no I don't always do the same things.
as a child, stovies on a monday, leftover meat from the sunday roast,
annea - loved stovies when I lived in Scotland. Mmmm. But growing up in Surrey, Monday was always shepherd's pie night for the same reason. Mmmm again.
Gawd, my mom was like that, when i was a kid i would know what day of the week it was by what we had for tea.
I try not to be like that. Even Sunday is very rarely traditional sunday lunch. I sometimes do that during the week. It all depends what shifts Im on and therefore how much time Im got to shop on the way home plus cook.
always fish on a friday !
i have done, but my it's boring, time to shake things up a bit..
