I like programmes like Kitchen Nighmares and Hells Kitchen....

I'd get stuff in to make some quick and tasty starters. Like scallops and salad, Prawn cocktails...those types.

Wine...or coffee.
i would sit with the v+remote and catch up on as much tv as i can, then watch my films, 13th warrior tridtan and isolde first night my movies oh and have a tim burton films on tap. nibbles doritos choccies drinkies, shloer and dr pepper.
bottle of red, a big pile of greggs' festive pasties, and top gear on dave.

....for about an hour or two, then

putting on my headphones and playing my keyboard, guitars and drums with noone moaning from the sitting room.
I'd order in a chicken madras from my fave restaurant and have a GU melt in the middle pudding for afters.

I'd watch Eastenders, Grand Designsh, any fly on the wall thing C4 happens to be showing and finish it off with family guy.

A cup of tea or glass of milk would be my tipple.
Some wine, maybe a pizza or a curry with ice cream for afters either a good book or perhaps pride and prejudice or another one of my 'period dramas' that my other half hates. Or one of my really bad giant monster/robot/mutant animal films like slither or Them!

me too ummm!! how funny, you must come over for the eve lol
I'd make up a little meze. Slightly blackened Chorizo, grilled halloumi, pitta and hummus, cherry peppers filled with soft cheese, olives and feta... though if I was on my own, I wouldn't do olives 'cos I *hate* them.

Definitely a large glass of vino, not really fussy whether it's white, red or rosé, and Miranda on the TV.

Depending on what day of the week it was, I would probably finish with a Baileys, and head up to bed and watch a film. Lush!
mine's my Saturday morning, radio 6 Collins & Long (I think I've got a voice-crush on Josie Long!) and a nice breakfast.. frosted shredded wheat, some marmalade on door-step toast and a big cup of tea. Have a read of the papers and do my sudoku before heading off to rugby! I love them!

Plate of assorted nibbles onion bhajis, mini samosas, mango chutney maybe some mini peshwari naan and salad... haagen daz for dessert... soak in the bath..... programmes about volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis, bowl of toffee popcorn and a pot of good coffee.... with a drop of tia maria to splash in it...
bottle (s) rose
lots of nibbles, chick satay, figs, ham, cheese, fresh bread, pate, dips, things to dip in dips, more cheese

an evening of big bang
sayign that tonight i'm going for chinese nibbles, bottle of rose and a dvd
I'm a sucker for Pride and Predudice, the Colin Firth version. With a nice glass or two of wine, munching some pataschios, maybe some champagne truffles. Wrapped up in a clean fluffy bathrobe in front of a blazing fire.
Sally, that sounds perfect! :-)

This is putting me in the mood to do something 'nice', tonight.
1659 - Old Speckled Hen
1700 - The Chase
1800 - Eggheads
1830 - The Simpsons
2000 - University Challenge
2030 - Only Connect
2100 - Blue steak, peppercorn sauce, French fries, green beans in lots of garlic
2130 - Chateauneuf du Pape, several French cheeses
What happens after 21.30?
Gaviscon! :c)
I would join flip the switch - the little meze sounds just my type of thing, but then I supposed it would not be in the home alone category........
