Well this 'regular' is off to bed soon.

I told myself that I'd drink just a third of this bottle of wine. Then I extended it to a half. Then it became two thirds. Now there's just half an inch left in the last glass from the bottle, so it's definitely bedtime soon!

i've been up to bed and now i'm up again, unable to sleep. meeting a friend tomorrow whom i haven't seen for nearly 50 years. we just send christmas and easter cards. he rang the other evening and sakd he and wife coming down here for weekend, could we meet up. not sure if it is a good idea. what do you think? too late to change arrangements but not sure how to approach it.

So what are you going to do Chris? Drink the last half inch or leave it there? Either way you will realise in the morning that you have not drunk a full bottle, or you don't even have enough left to fill a glass:-)

If you haven't seen the guy for 50 years, I suspect that he'll be quite different (both physically and intellectually) from he man you knew all those years ago.
