wee tip to all sufferers of eczema, new cream available from your gp called  PROTOPIC O.1%,ive had this condition since childhood and been prescribed every single topical steriod since all to no avail, however had new gp standing in last week and he gave me this,within2 days i was completely clear!he said it quite expensive to prescribe so might be difficult getting your gp to agree to it,please insist as i did today again with my usual doc,it really works miracles.

Yes, we have been using Protopic 0.03% for a couple of years for my 5 year old daughter. A stand in doctor gave it to us and everytime we have to renew the prescription I hold my breath in case the doctor doesn't renew it. It is about 100 for a small tube I believe. You do need to be careful in the sun though and if having immunisations. My only problem with it is it is quite greasy. But apparently this holds the cream onto the skin for longer. Still anything that is non steriod is good as I remember putting full strength Betnovate onto my face as a child and now it is known to thin the skin.
