Cure for Eczema??

Found this website www,freederm.com which claims that people with eczema conditions can be cured in 3 days. Has anyone tried? Is there cure for eczema? Please give as much info as possible I have been suffering for a long time....thank you...Van

Wouldnt it be lovely to find a cure that works of eczema in 3 days. It would certainly be worth more than $50 if it were true.
TBH i doubt very much that this is any such thing.
Eczema is an allergic reaction or a reaction to irritants on the skin. Most treatments involve a barrier cream to keep the rash / sores clean and protected or in a serious case steriods.
Eczema (as asthma and allergies such as hayfever) can come or come at certain ages. I myself had it very badly as a child and luckily i know only get it in extreme hot weather or if stressed.
I hope that you find relief from your eczema soon.

My mate Jimmy has some really bad Eczema, constantly scrittin and-a scrattin...he uses creams but it doesn't seem to work. He says it's the water that does it to him, when we were on holiday together it cleared up within a few days and back to england and it returns! He also blames cheese...but he's given that up and he's still just as bad!
Steroids you say in bad cases? Well my mate has a BAD case!! I think I'll put it to him and see what he says.

when i say steriods, they are usually in cream form. Does your mate have prescriptions from GP for cream? Think the main one i always had when i had a bad flare up was betnovate but used long term can make skin thin.
If he thinks cheese causes flare ups then maybe he could try and cut out all dairy products for a while and see if theres any improvement.

I've suffered badly from eczema all my life being in and out of hospital in my early years and I'm 33 now and I've never found a cure! I think you just learn to live with it or keep to routines that work for you as it's different for different people. What works for one may not work for others!!
All my products are hypo-allergenic and as long as I moisture daily, I'm ok but it does flare up from time to time especially in Summer which is why it's not my favourite season as it's difficult to keep cool. I don't think I'll be free from it completely but as long as I stick to my routine, I'll be ok! I wish there was a cure but after 33 years of trying, I can wish!

I don't know about this product but my son had the most awful excema as a baby - he looked like he been burned - I tried everything including steroids which I hated using. I read about SK Cream in The Times alternative health page and decided it was worth a try - it was made by a farmers wife whose husband and son bith suffered and she wanted to find an alternative to steroids - I'm not saying it's a miracle cure but it ceratinly made a HUGE difference to my son and it's all natural. I gave some to my cousin who suffers from psoriosis and she would not be without it now. you can get a lanolin and a lanolin free version. margaret evans 01526 832491 or email [email protected].

The worst thing I did when I was younger was use the really strong steroid cream continuously for years which scarred my skin and left it extra sensitive now but when you're 6 or 7 you'll use whatever worked and no-one told me any better until I found out for myself at 13 or 14 by which time it was too late!
The best products I've found useful for myself after years of prescription creams is now Vaseline Dermocare. It's hypo-allergenic and comes in a white bottle. Best thing I've used ever! I also use Simple Face wash and Dove, extra sensitive.
I still use Hydro-cortisone as an emergency backup if I need to!
